English billiards

Billiards played in the United Kingdom on a table with six pockets using three balls (one red and two white); the goal is to pocket the balls or use one ball to hit the other two.

red ball

Ball that the player must hit or pocket; at the start of the game, it is placed on the billiard spot.

white object ball

White ball that belongs to the other player; it is also the ball that the first player must hit or pocket.

cue ball

White ball that belongs to one of the players; it is put into play from the "D".
